Nice display piece featuring a pair of Washington Senators Hall of Fame pitcher Walter Johnson signed items both already slabbed in PSA/DNA AUTHENTIC holders. They are:
1) 8/10/32 postmarked envelope signed by Johnson in very strong 8-9/10 black ink. Nice pitching image of Johnson has been added at center with the autograph at top left surrounded by a typed From- Manager of Washington Senators Season of 1932 Walter Johnson. Envelope itself in pretty nice shape with a few very light looking creases and the tip missing at the upper left corner.
2) The rarity lies in the fact that this is one of only 15 large format checks known to exist. 9/8/39 check signed by Johnson in nice 8/10 black ink. No cancellation holes in signature. Light fold lines but a small hole at center. Upper left and right tips missing.
Professionally framed and matted to a size of 15" by 22 1/4".
