Great lot of 3 items relating to the August 26 1943 Journal American "All Star War Bond Game" held at the Polo Grounds and featuring players from the Brooklyn Dodgers New York Yankees and New York Giants. During an exhibition taking place at this game Babe Ruth hit a home run off Walter Johnson.
1) GD PSA 2 Ticket Stub to the game. The finest graded by PSA full ticket or stub. Crease free and super clean both front and back aside from a 3/16" by 1" tape residue stain across the top center.
2) Official Score Card for the game with roster of all players participating in the game. Great condition and very neatly scored in pencil. Signed on the blank back in pencil by Elmer Valo and Ducky Detweiler.
3) Souvenir Program to the game. Covers detached from rest of program split at seam almost completely. Insides of program for the most part in very nice condition. Loaded with photos of players and articles about the game and players plus full page stories about the first games of Honus Wagner Babe Ruth Connie Mack Tris Speaker George Sisler Eddie Collins and Walter Johnson. Loads of interesting stuff here.
Autographs pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
