This lot includes the trophy presented to Elgin Baylor in 1954 for scoring the most points in the City Invitational Tournament (C.I.T.). In 1954 Baylor attended Spingarn High School in Washington D.C. and was honored with 1st team All Met honors and won the SSAs Livingston Trophy as the areas Best Basketball Player in 1954. The trophy features a yellow metal male basketball figure standing on top of a yellow metal and plastic base flanked by two metal birds framed by yellow plastic. The engraved plaque reads C.I.T./ Most Points/ Tourney/ 1954. The trophy stands 17 high by 7 wide by 3 deep.
