In 1963 the Los Angeles Dodgers had a season to remember. After winning the National League pennant with a regular-season record of 99-63 six games ahead of the runner-up St. Louis Cardinals the Dodgers went on to sweep the vaunted American League Champion New York Yankees in four straight games in the World Series. Don Drysdale the teams top right-hander with 19 victories established a career high by fanning 251 batters that season while posting an ERA of 2.63 over 315.1 innings' worth of work. He maintained his winning ways in the Fall Classic by pitching a complete game 1-0 shutout over the Yanks in Game 3. Big D struck out nine Bronx Bombers and scattered three hits over the course of nine innings.

Presented here is the ring awarded to Drysdale following the Dodgers' third World Series championship. A round brilliant-cut diamond (.75 carat) commands the face set in a blue stone and ringed by the words "Los Angeles World Champions." One shank features ball and bats imagery with Don Drysdales signature engraved on the baseballs sweet spot. The other shank celebrates the teams World Series sweep with "4 Straight" terminology the Dodgers logo and the year "1963." The white gold beauty is stamped "Balfour 14K" at interior band which measures to size 9.5. The ring remains in outstanding condition.

Includes LOA from the Drysdale Family.
