Offered here is a pair of game-used professional model bats from two Dodgers who overlapped two seasons (1971-72). Speedy centerfielder Willie Davis played 14 seasons in L.A. beginning in 1960. He won two World Series (1963 and '65) and three straight Gold Gloves from 1971-73 appearing in two All-Star games in that span. His circa 1969-70 game-used Louisville Slugger A99 professional model ash bat measuring 35" long and weighing 32.3 oz. shows solid game use with ball contact and bat rack marks on the barrel and label areas. There is a thin 8" crack that runs from the H&B label to the middle of the barrel.

Steve Yaeger played 14 seasons in L.A. and served as the team's starting catcher for the majority of that time. He shared the 1981 World Series MVP (with Pedro Guerrero and Ron Cey) after hitting two homers in the series including the Game 5 winner off Yankees ace Ron Guidry. Yeager was known more for his exceptional defense. Lou Brock called him "the best-throwing catcher in the game." His circa 1973-79 game-used Adirondack 170 A professional model ash bat measuring 35" long and weighing 35.1 oz. shows excellent game use with pine tar on the handle and grain impressions on the barrel. There is a 7" upper handle crack and the knob is marked with Yeager's No. "7" in faded black marker. He has signed the barrel in lovely 9/10 blue marker.

Includes PSA/DNA LOA's from John Taube for each bat: 1B06457 for Davis; 1B09627 for Yeager. PSA COA# X90361 for Yaeger autograph.
