Original Type I photograph of New York Knicks Hall of Famers Red Holzman and Bill Bradley taken 12/29/1967 during each’s first/rookie year as head coach and small forward respectively. In fact this was Holzman's head coaching debut a 126-115 loss to the Lakers following ten years as a Knicks scout and assistant.
Bradley the Rhodes Scholar out of Princeton was sidelined for a few weeks after getting into a car accident. Following his playing days he would go on to have a long successful career in politics serving as a New Jersey Senator for three terms (1979-97) before running for the Democratic nomination for president in 2000. Both men were instrumental in bringing home the Knickerbockers’ lone two NBA titles in 1970 and ‘73. Super clean and sharp photo with minor surface scratches.
