July 15 1942 Clark Gable signed Superior Court State of California County of Los Angeles legal document as Executor of the Carole Lombard Estate. Lombard Gable's wife and one of the most popular female movie stars in Hollywood died tragically on January 16 1942 in a plane crash while returning home from a World War II bond selling tour. The document authorizes payment to the Union Pacific Railroad Company "Covering following transportation from Las Vegas Nevada to Los Angeles: 10 Passenger fares and 3 remains $140.18". Perfect looking 9-10/10 Clark Gable vintage blue ink autograph. Document itself in great condition.
