ADDENDUM: THIS IS A CIRCA 1960'S ED MEADOR LOS ANGELES RAMS GAME WORN BLUE ROAD FOOTBALL JERSEY. NOT 1950'S.
Circa 1960's Los Angeles Rams blue road football jersey game worn by Eddie Meador the tough leader of the defensive backfield who only missed one game during his entire 12 year career. Rare blue colored jersey as the Rams always wore white for all 7 of their home games and most of their road games during the 1964-1969 NFL seasons. The popular Meador played his entire career with the Rams from 1959 through 1970 making 46 interceptions and recovering 22 fumbles. Large white "21" applied to both front and back. "21" and pair of white stripes applied to both sleeves. 6-button crotch-piece sewn into bottom. Russell Southern size 54 label with laundry instructions sewn into left front tail. Blue jersey has faded a little and has several team repairs as one would expect on a jersey used by the hard hitting Meador. Great piece of 1960's Ram football history!
