1936-1943 Official Pacific Coast League(Tuttle) baseball signed by popular St. Louis Cardinal Hall of Fame picture Dizzy Dean on the side panel next to the stamping in attractive 7-8/10 blue ink. Ball was probably signed between 1938 and 1941 when Dizzy played for the Chicago Cubs. During that period the Cubs held spring training on Catalina Island and played Pacific Coast League teams in getting ready for the upcoming season. Ball has soiled somewhat over the years and has a small rust colored area to the left of Dean's autograph. On the panel above the stamping is a small hole where the ball was mounted at one time.
