In 1992, Christian Laettner had an exceptional year in his basketball career. He achieved back-to-back NCAA titles and received several prestigious awards, including the John R. Wooden Award, which recognizes the most outstanding basketball player in college for both men and women.

During the award ceremony, Laettner wore this offered thick white jacket adorned with various embroidered patches. The embroidered patch on the left chest displays the words "1992 All-American Team" and "Player of The Year Award." On the right chest area, Laettner's name was embroidered, along with his recent autograph and the inscription "32 Duke." Each sleeve has a sewn patch, and the back of the jacket features a large embroidered patch with the words "1992 All-American Team" and "John R. Wooden Award."

Furthermore, the collection includes a laminated double-sided print (approx. 11.5" x 15") signed on both sides by the legendary Coach Wooden himself. The front side of the print showcases a newspaper article capturing Laettner wearing this very jacket as he accepts his award alongside Wooden, with "Congratulations and best wishes in the years to come. John Wooden UCLA" inscribed. On the back of the print, there is a depiction of John Wooden's famous Pyramid of Success with a personal inscription to Laettner, "To Christian - with best wishes, John Wooden." Both of Wooden's signatures and inscriptions in bold 9.5/10 blue marker have been authenticated by PSA/DNA. This collection, with three signatures in total, would make a valuable addition to any basketball enthusiast's collection.
