Presenting a stunning 1992 Duke Blue Devils NCAA Basketball "Back to Back" National Champions Watch. Crafted by Citizen for Jostens, it was exclusively distributed to the Duke players and coaches. Duke's remarkable achievement of reaching five consecutive Final Fours and securing two national championships from 1988 until 1992 established a legacy that remains to this day. Consequently, Duke fans affectionately earned the moniker "Dukies," while their esteemed coach, Mike Krzyzewski, became commonly referred to as Coach K. Although all the teams during that period were exceptional, it is the 1992 team that garnered the most recognition due to their exceptional talent.
This specific watch originates from the personal collection of Christian Laettner, the 1992 Naismith award winner. The back of the watch proudly bears the inscription "Christian Laettner #32 1992 ACC Champion." A truly distinctive piece, it would undoubtedly make a remarkable addition to any watch collection!
