Christian Laettner is a figure who induces strong feelings of admiration or aversion, yet he may arguably be the greatest player ever produced by Duke's basketball program. Throughout his four-year tenure with the Blue Devils, he consistently propelled the team to the Final Four each season. His achievements include securing two national championships in 1991 and 1992, earning the tournament's Most Outstanding Player award in 1991, as well as the consensus National Player Of The Year in 1992.
This collection includes a pair of awards that Laettner received during his third year with the Duke basketball team, signifying his exceptional performance. One award honors his "Best Rebounding Average," while the other recognizes his "Best Field Goal Percentage." Each accolade is tastefully presented in wooden frames that measure 9.75 by 13.5 inches, accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from Laettner himself.
