This lot pairing of Chipper Jones game-used items offered here. A Brave for life the future Hall of Famer retired with 468 home runs1623 RBI a .303 lifetime batting average 8 All-Star appearances an N.L. MVP award and a WorldSeries ring.
First we have Chipper's circa 1999-2000 game-worn and dual-autographed Mizuno cleats. Jones put up monster numbers in each season batting .319 and .311 respectively with a combined 81 home runs 234 runs 221 RBI 79 doubles and 39 stolen bases. To say 1999 was Chipper's year would be an understatement. He took home the N.L. MVP and became the firstplayer in MLB history to hit better than .300 with over 40 homers40 doubles 100 RBI 100 Runs 100 walks and 20 steals. The black leather mid-high top cleats have the Mizuno logo in white with Chipper's uniform number "10" sewn in white on the outer heels. Tagged inside with size "11 1/2" and a "IC 11 99" manufacturer's code the cleats show excellent game use with dirt still stuck to the ten metal spikes on the bottom. Jones has signed each shoe on theinstep in perfect 10/10 silver paint pen with his No. "10" inscription. Chipper's accompanying circa 2010-11 Mizuno 'Vintage Pro' game-used and dual-signed batting gloves are made of leather and an elastic material. The top side comes in red white and black with the white Mizuno logo the underside is gray and the black and white wristband has a "CJ 10" Velcro strap. Jones has signed each glove on the underside in 9-10/10 black marker with "G-U" inscribed. Jones was an All-Star in 2011 and 2012 his final two seasons.
