Cut signature of turn of the century ballplayer and 1927 Yankees coach Charlie O'Leary. O'Leary has signed in very strong 9/10 looking vintage black ink. The light hitting O'Leary played mainly shortstop during his 10 year career and was a member of the 1907 1908 and 1909 American League Champion Detroit Tigers. After his playing days were over he became a long time coach with the New York Yankees appearing in 6 World Series including the heralded Murderer's Row team of 1927. O'Leary died only 14 years after that championship. His affiliation with the 1927 Yankees and the relative scarcity of his signature makes this a highly coveted and scarce commodity. Cut signature measures about 3" by 5 1/2".
