Yogi Berra the late Hall of Fame catcher with the New York Yankees served as a coach and then as manager of the New York Mets in the late ‘60s and early ‘70s. He managed the Mets to the 1973 National League pennant. This lot features a beautiful Mets-themed pendant that Berra awarded to Carmen his wife of 65 years in 1967. The 10K gold pendant shows the Mets logo on the front in raised design with two rubies and a small diamond centered on the top. The back of the pendant is specially engraved “TO CARM LOVE YOGI 9/24/67.”
This item comes from Yogi Berra’s personal collection with a signedletter from an authorized family member of the Yogi Berra Estate.
