Kirk Gibson returned to the Detroit Tigers for the final chapter of his 17-year big league career. This Kirk Gibson autographed Detroit Tigers game-used batting helmet dates from 1993 to 1995 during his final three seasons. It has been inscribed with “Kirk Gibson 23” in silver sharpie (9/10). The dark blue batting helmet with with "D" logo on the forehead--the style worn at home--has signs of moderate game use. His number “23” white decal and the manufacturer's sticker logo “ABC” appear on the reverse. Helmet made by American Baseball Cap in Medina PA. Size “6 7/8”.
