Sidney Moncrief played 10 of his 11 NBA seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks and here we have a pair of his circa 1986-88 game-worn and dual-signed Nike shoes. During the 1980s the 64 shooting guard was the leader of the Bucks who had the decades 3rd best winning percentage behind the Lakers and Celtics. Moncrief was known for his versatility on the court particularly his shot-making abilities and tenacious defense. He finished with a 15.6 scoring average and shot over 50% from the field for his career earning five All-Star appearances and two Defensive Player of the Year Awards.
The size 13 white canvas Nike Air "Force" high-top sneakers with green Swoosh logos come in Bucks-themed colors. They include their original laces and are customized with orthotic inserts in each insole. Moncrief has signed each shoe on the outer ankle in blue ballpoint. Game use is evident inside and out. Aside from the paint-like coating on the tongues starting to rub off the shoes come largely as-issued and problem-free.
Includes Letter of Opinion from Mears which states Moncrief wore them circa 1985-89. Photo evidence shows he wore this style 1986-88.
