One would think that for all their publicity and accolades there would be many Type 1 photos of the "Edmonton Oilers Dynamic Duo" – Wayne Gretzky and Mark Messier – but there simply are not. The two powered the Oilers to four Stanley Cups during the seasons they were teammates. The NHL’s top 1-2 pairing is captured celebrating just after scoring a goal in this Type 1 photo taken famed hockey photographer Bruce Bennett. The contrast is sharp, the detail is clear, and this 5” x 7” photo has all four borders. The reverse of the photo has the Bruce Bennett credit stamp, catalog sticker, and several hand written notations. Encapsulated Type 1 by PSA/DNA.
