Jim Cleamons was a 6’ 3” point guard who played 10 seasons in the NBA five of them with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He averaged 8.3 points and 3.9 assists per outing. This lot features his game worn Cleveland Cavaliers road jersey and shorts from the 1975-77 seasons. The jersey [size 42] is a burgundy polyester with "CAVALIERS" stretched across the front in gold and white tackle twill with Cleamons' uniform number “35” directly below in the same fashion and on the back as well. His last name – “CLEAMONS” – appears arched across the back in gold tackle twill affixed directly to the shirt. Tri-color burgundy white and yellow elastic panels adorn the sides and the collar and yoke. The appropriate dual Sand-Knit manufacturer’s tagging with flag tag reading “42” appears on the lower left front tail. The lettering and numbering of the jersey show some fraying and light puckering of his number on the front and back. Some of the letters in fact show some cracking but remain intact. The accompanying burgundy shorts with yellow and white trim include proper tagging on the inside rear waistband. The first tag reads “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the CLEVELAND CAVALIERS NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION” while the second tag reads “Size 34” and includes washing instructions.
