Offered here is a remarkable game-worn jersey from an important UCLA alum from the 1950's linebacker Bob Long who go own to have an 8-year NFL career with the Rams Lions and Cowboys from 1955-62 a stint that included the 1957 NFL Championship year with the Lions. The amazing vintage jersey is in UCLA's colors with a blue knit body and gold and deep navy blue highlighted stripes at the shoulders. Long's No. 82 is featured front and back in gold fabric embroidered to the shirt. Though intact and without major difficulties the well-aged shirt shows enormous game usage including puckering at the numbers some tears holes and teams repairs. It is a marvelous artifact from the glorious 1950's era of college football.
