This Cy Young single-signed ball is so fresh looking it could have been signed yesterday. The 1940s-era Harwood Official League ball is almost box-fresh, and baseball’s most winningest pitcher’s blue ink signature pops off the creamy white leather surface. As this ball was signed late Cy Young’s life (he passed away in 1955), his hand was a bit unsteady and the signature fades towards the end. Still, you can clearly see the signature of games greatest pitcher, whose career achievements all other pitchers are compared. Single signed balls from early Hall of Famers are always rare, and this example of Cy Young is certainly one of the freshest in existence. The ball comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA.
