After being dealt to Green Bay from Atlanta in 1991 the incomparable Brett Favre spent the next 16 seasons lining up behind center for the Packers. In 1993 he would begin his first full season of starting all 16 regular-season games for the Pack a streak that would continue for 17 straight years including single seasons for both the New York Jets and the Minnesota Vikings. This lot features three special mementos from Favre's career starting with a 1993 Green Bay Packers game-issued No. 4 Favre jersey. It has the Packers 75th anniversary patch and is properly labeled by Starter on the shirttail with a "93" strip tag and "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Green Bay Packers". Size 48 flag tag is a little big for Favre which could explain why this jersey never saw game auction. The second piece comes in the form of a 1997 Super Bowl XXXI painted football signed by Favre in 6-7/10 black marker that shows not only the combatants that year (Green Bay vs. New England) on a single panel but also the final score: 35-21 Packers. The final piece is a beautifully preserved ticket stub from Super Bowl XXXI (Gate C Section 120 Row 28 Seat 06) in a screw-down Acrylic case that shows the venue the Louisiana Superdome in the distance. A trifecta of memories from the storied career of one of footballs greatest and most durable quarterbacks.
