The late Bill Moose Skowron was a pivotal player on the 1956 New York Yankees. The burly first baseman batted .308 that season with 143 hits including 23 home runs and 90 runs batted in as the Bronx Bombers went on to win the World Series in seven games against the Brooklyn Dodgers. In Game 7 of the World Series Skowron stepped up to the plate in the top half of the seventh inning with the bases loaded. With the Yankees already out in front 5-0 Skowron put the nail in the Dodgers coffin with a grand slam off Roger Craig. On base for the memorable blast was Billy Martin at third Mickey Mantle at second and Yogi Berra at first. Here is Mooses prized treasure his 1956 World Series ring direct from the Skowron family. Skowrons ring features a real diamond at center set in baseball diamond motif surrounded by "New York Yankees World Champions" on top. Both sides bear "1956" above the Yankee top hat logo amidst laurel leaves. The band interior is engraved William J. Skowron Jr. in script and stamped Balfour 14k. The size 10½ ring is in excellent overall condition with minor wear from use.

Includes Letter of Authenticity from the Skowron Family.
