In association with his agency Rep 1 Sports Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is offering his game-worn and autographed Breast Cancer Awareness cleats used in the Steelers' 19-16 victory over the visiting Baltimore Ravens on October 20 2013 at Heinz Field. Ben was an efficient 17-23 passing for 160 yards and a touchdown pass to his longtime tight end Heath Miller. The Steelers went 8-8 that season not bad after starting 0-4. Thanks to Big Ben's propensity to give back he is auctioning these to raise money for a great cause. A portion of the proceeds will go directly towards The Ben Roethlisberger Foundation (http://bigben7.com/the-ben-roethlisberger-foundation) which supports K-9 units and service dogs of police and fire departments throughout the U.S.
Bens pink and black Nike Superbad Pro turf shoes come in size 14 and show ample wear inside and out. Chunks of grass and mud from Heinz Field are stuck to the bottoms. On each shoe Ben has added his signature in bold 9/10 black marker on the outside toe area. His jersey No. "7" is marked in black on the inner sides of both. The interior tagging reads SEASON SU12 and PROMO SAMPLE30130930 confirming that these cleats were player-issued only. Original black laces are intact. What a treat to be able to present these gamers to the collecting community.
