The original paper credit affixed on the back of this Wide World (Cleveland Bureau) wire photo titles the image "'Kings of Swat' Meet For First Time". The photo shot on 5-19-31 shows the two heavy-weights discussing the finer points of bat selection. Ruth has signed the photo in black fountain pen "To John From Babe Ruth." Ruth's inscription rates 8/10. The photo has some light rippling but holds up in EX condition with crystal clear image quality. The paper credit is fully in tact on the reverse. Measures 8 by 10 inches.
