This OAL (Barnard) baseball is signed by Babe Ruth Lou Gehrig and 25 members of the 1929 Washington Senators including Walter Johnson. Ruth has signed on the sweet spot in very legible 6-7/10 vintage black ink. Gehrig is on the panel above in the same 6/10 black ink. The 1929 Washington Senators who have signed the ball in matching ink are: Red Barnes Harley Boss Lloyd Brown Bob Burke Joe Cronin(HOF)(6/10) Ed Gharrity Charlie Gooch Goose Goslin(HOF)(4/10) Bump Hadley Jackie Hayes Walter Johnson(HOF)(6-7/10) Sam Jones Joe Judge Doc Land Ad Liska Firpo Marberry Buddy Myer Sam Rice(HOF)(6-7/10) Muddy Ruel Elroy Spencer Benny Tate(SS) 2 unidentified. Most signatures range from about 3-7/10 averaging 5/10. The ball itself has soiled evenly over time but still presents quite well.
