Directly from the family estate collection of Barney Stein comes this pair of 8x10 original photos of Jackie Robinson meeting King Faisal II of Iraq when the young leader visited Ebbets Field on Aug. 13, 1952, during an ambassador trip to New York. One shows the two shaking hands next to a WNBC radio microphone in a room full of well-dressed men. The other pictures them seated as Jackie reviews a paper document on the table. What an interesting conversation these two must have had!Each photo was printed off its original negative from the famous Dodgers photographer's camera many years later. The reverse of each has a Barney Stein stamp. One comes with a PSA/DNA (Type 2) LOA.
