Offered here is a marvelous single-signed baseball from another of the legendary figures who walked on the moon astronaut Edgar Mitchell who has signed this pristine Official MLB Selig ball and further enhanced it with a carefully printed elaborate narrative about that cosmic moment. Mitchell a former naval officer and aviator test pilot and aeronautical engineer spent nine hours walking on the lunar surface and on one panel of the baseball talks about gravity on the moon and on another offers details about the fine powder of the lunar surface. On the two remaining panels Mitchell provided details of the Lunar Olympics held with fellow astronaut Alan Shepard which included a golf shot javelin throw etc. with Mitchell noting it took only five minutes and was held just before launching to return to Earth. Simply a spectacular piece of American history neatly constructed and commemorated on the principal object of Americas National Pastime.
