Few would dispute that her signature was any less elegant or captivating than her being. And until her passing in 1962 Marilyn Monroe was universally acclaimed the world's most beautiful siren. Originating during her peak of stardom in 1953 this handwritten and signed check (6 x 2.75) to a Bank of America (Sunset & Laurel) branch is dated March 17 1953 and paid to the order of "Little Gypsy" for $10.00. The check is filled out entirely in Monroes hand and is beautifully signed by the blond goddess herself in bold blue ballpoint pen ink. Personal checks from Marilyn are rare and highly sought after in the hobby with those entirely filled out in Monroes hand commanding a premium. Authenticated & encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
