Featured here is an actual stadium seat removed from Arrowhead Stadium sometime during its renovation (2007-2010). The plastic seatback is numbered "1" next to a nameplate that gives the history of Arrowhead and its main tenant the Kansas City Chiefs (1972-2007). On August 12 1972 the Chiefs defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 2414 in the first game at Arrowhead. Later that season on Nov. 5 the largest crowd (82094) at Arrowhead showed up to watch the Chiefs play the Oakland Raiders. The Kansas City Wizards (1996-2007) of the MLS also called it home before moving to a soccer-specific stadium. The end-row seat has a raised Chiefs' arrowhead logo with "KC" and row "37" spray-painted in white. The seatback is attached to a metal frame and base. Appears to be in VG-EX overall condition completely original with no restoration.Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.
