From a towering figure from women’s basketball comes this wonderful grouping of Team USA Warm-Up Suits and Jackets from the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics garments presented to broadcaster Ann Meyers Basketball Hall of Famer and a member of the silver medal-winning squad from the 1976 Olympics in Montreal and arguably the most prominent figure of her generation in women’s basketball. The four-time All-American at UCLA and the only woman to sign an NBA contract (1979) Meyers is the widow of another Hall of Famer legendary Dodgers right-hander Don Drysdale. The velour jackets and pants are in superb condition with official Olympic embroidered patch on the front left on the two blue jackets the same patch that is affixed to the hip of the accompany pants; the oval Olympics embroidered patch appears on the front left shoulder directly above the Levi’s patch on the hooded red jacket. All elements of the garments appear to be in essentially as-issued and problem-free condition. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from the Ann Meyers Collection.
