Ahmad Rashad was a very successful wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings in the late 70s and early 80s. On Dec. 14 1980 in a home game against the Cleveland Browns Rashad was the difference maker as he hauled in a pair of fourth-quarter touchdown passes from quarterback Tommy Kramer to help the Vikings prevail 28-23. Rashad shined in 23-degree weather that day at Metropolitan Stadium in Minneapolis. This is the official single-white-panel Wilson (Rozelle) game ball that was awarded to Rashad following that day. On the lone white panel it is stamped: GAME BALL PRESENTED TO Ahmad Rashad Vikings 28 Browns 23 December 14 1980 Met Stadium. The Vikings logo is prominently displayed on the ball.
