Featured here is an Andrew Luck game-used football from the Indianapolis Colts' 2013 season opener on September 8 vs. the Oakland Raiders at Lucas Oil Stadium. The ball is signed and inscribed by Luck and sourced directly from Panini as part of their exclusive contract with the Colts star quarterback. The Colts won the game 21-17 as Luck did it with both his arm and his legs. Trailing 17-14 with under 6 minutes remaining the former Stanford standout ran for a 19-yard game-winning touchdown. Through the air he went 18-23 for 178 yards and two touchdowns. The Colts finished the season 11-5 to win the AFC South division. In the team's Wild Card playoff game against the Chiefs Luck led the Colts back from a 38-10 deficit for an stunning 45-44 victory.
The official Wilson '"The Duke" NFL game football has a large gold NFL logo stamped on the front next to Commissioner Roger Goodell's insignia. The ball shows appropriate game use and is stamped "COLTS" above Luck's autograph. Luck has signed in shiny 9/10 silver with his uniform number "12" and "VS. OAK 9/8/13 Season Opener" inscriptions. "132" is penned in silver on the front perhaps denoting a legal inflation of 13.2 pounds per square inch. Nice piece to own for your game-used football collection with impeccable provenance. Comes with original black Panini box.
