Featured here is an awesome pair of Andrew Luck game-worn cleats from the Indianapolis Colts' October 26 2014 road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field. The cleats are each signed and inscribed by Luck and sourced directly from Panini as part of their exclusive contract with the Colts star quarterback. The Colts lost in a 51-34 shootout between Luck and Ben Roethlisberger in which both quarterbacks threw for over 400 yards. Big Ben went for a team-record 522 and 6 TD's (see Lot 897). Luck finished with an even 400 yards passing 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. The Colts finished the regular season at 11-5 to win their 2nd straight AFC South division crown eventually bowing out to the Patriots in the AFC Championship (aka the "Deflate Gate" game).
The Nike Alpha Pro black and blue colored cleats come in size 15 and exhibit incredible game use with grass stains on both white Swoosh logos and grass/mud chunks from Heinz Field stuck to the bottoms. The grass stain on the left cleat can easily be photo-matched. The interior tagging reads SEASON SU14 and PROMO 1407190795 confirming that these cleats were player-issued only. Original black laces are intact. Shoe exteriors are made with Nike's innovative "Flywire" technology. Luck has added a beautiful 9-10/10 signature with his uniform No. "12" over the toes of each along with the awesome inscription "10/26/14 400 yds. vs. PIT 3TD". Terrific pair of Andrew Luck game material with impeccable provenance. They come in their original black Panini presentation box.
