On September 8, 1985, Pete Rose did what was once thought impossible: match Ty Cobb’s 4,191 career hits. The historic occasion unfolded at Chicago’s Wrigley Field, where Rose tagged Cubs pitcher Reggie Patterson for hits 4,190 and the tying hit number 4,191. The game was called due to darkness after a rain delay, setting up the opportunity for Pete to break Cobb’s record at home in Cincinnati. This is a full ticket to the historic game at Wrigley Field, one of only 11 graded and only three graded higher than this one. The ticket has been encapsulated by PSA and graded EX-MT 6.

Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method. Prior to bidding, please be aware of estimated shipping costs, especially for large or heavy lots.
