Featured here is a 2013 New York Yankees game-worn road jersey from future Hall of Fame outfielder Ichiro Suzuki. The Japanese legend has captivated baseball fans from two continents in a career that has amassed more than 4000 base hits (including Japan). Oh and by the way he has also won 10 Gold Gloves two batting titles 2 Most Valuable Player awards and the 2001 Rookie of the Year (Fred Lynn is only other to win both MVP and ROY in same season). Yep the man with a magic wand and rifle arm who runs like the wind will surely find a second home in Cooperstown some day. On this August 2 2013 interleague matchup with the San Diego Padres at Petco Park Ichiro went 1-4 with a stolen base and a run scored as the Yanks fell 7-2.
The gray button-down has "NEW YORK" in dark blue on white tackle twill across the front with Ichiro's large "31" in the same form on back. Majestic Authentic tagging is sewn on front shirttail with size '42' '2013' and '+.25" slv' flag tags and the "NEW YORK YANKEES" bar code sticker (0000003555) applied just below. Ichiro has signed on the back No. 3 in 8-9/10 silver felt tip pen. Jersey shows solid game use and comes essentially as-issued and problem-free.
