Offered here is Mike Trout's personal visitor's locker nameplate used in a Los Angeles Angels road game at Kaufman Stadium during the 2015season. It is fittingly paired with a game-used baseball from that same contest against the Kansas City Royals on August 16th. KC won it in extra innings 4-3. Trout was surprisingly quiet that night at the plate
The other-worldly centerfielder blasted a career-high 41 bigflies in 2015 and led the American League in slugging (.590) and OPS(.991) to finish second in AL MVP voting—this sandwiched between his2014 and 2016 MVP seasons. Amazingly he has finished either first orsecond in MVP voting in each of his five MLB seasons including his 2012Rookie of the Year campaign.
The 12" by 3 1/2" locker room nameplate has Trout's No. "27" in large red letters between the AL and NL logos with a shiny gold background. The Official MLB (Manfield) baseball is soiled with dirt from game use. Both have been MLB Authenticated. According to the MLB database the ball was hit by Trout for a groundout against Royals reliever Wade Davis in the 8th inning. Our consignor has beautifully matted and displayed both items together in a 16" by 16" by 3.5" deep shadowboxed Plexiglas case with a nice black title placard on the bottom.
