It is rare enough to own a Home Run gamer from an MLB star so how about a pair from two sluggers that went back-to-back in the same game! On August 1 2012 the Boston Red Sox hosted the Detroit Tigers at FenwayPark. The Tigers broke the game open in the 5th inning when Miguel Cabrera and Prince Fielder hit back-to-back homers to give them a 6-1 lead. Incidentally both homers were monster shots Cabrera's blast clearing the billboards atop the Green Monster andlanding in the parking lot. The Tigers won that game 7-5 and would go on to take the American League pennant before falling to the San Francisco Giants in the World Series.
Cabrera captured AL MVP honors in 2012 and broke a 45-year drought by becoming the first Triple Crown winner since Yaz in 1967. He batted .330 with 44 HR and 129 RBI. Fielder hit .313 with 30 HR and 108 RBI in 2012 to earn himself a Silver Slugger. Miggy is bound for Cooperstown one day. Prince unfortunately had tohang 'em up early due to injury. His power like that of his dad Cecilwill never be forgotten.
Each player signed and inscribed their jerseyin perfect 9-10/10 looking silver felt tip pen on the back numbers. Both jerseys are certified by MLB Authentic can be photo-matched and were signed through DC Sports in Detroit whoconducts exclusive signings with Cabrera and other Tigers.
