Albert Pujols joined the Angels as free agent for the 2012 season after a historic 11-year run to start his career with the St. Louis Cardinals. After two straight sub-par seasons in the American League Pujols rediscovered his swing in 2014 to the tune of 28 home runs and 107 RBI and regained his Hall of Fame career trajectory.
This 2014 Marucci Pujols professional model cupped ended bat exhibits evidence of outstanding game use with numerous ball marks and stitch impressions visible on the back barrel. Cleat marks and rack marks also appear as does a heavy coat of pine tar on the upper handle and center brand. Pujols' number (5) the manufacture date (06/27/14) length (4) and weight (2) are stamped into the knob. The bat is uncracked and Pujols has added a large autograph on the barrel in black sharpie. An outstanding Pujols gamer in every respect from a pivotal year in his storied career.
