Presented here is an official CONMEBOL 2024 Copa América jersey issued to the GOAT, Lionel Messi, for the Argentina vs. Canada Group A match on June 20, 2024. While it was not presented to us as having been worn by Messi, it was one of only a few issued for Messi by AFA (Argentine Football Association). Each player reportedly receives at least two shirts for every scheduled match and this one ended up with the team kitman after Argentina’s 2-0 victory in Atlanta, GA.

This special Argentina National Team shirt comes in traditional sky blue with white stripes. Messi's iconic number "10" appears on the chest and in larger font on the reverse. "MESSI" appears on the upper back. Numbers and letters are done in black Applique with a gold embossed outline. The larger back numbers on the back are designed with an artistic spot and needle pattern. There is a gold Adidas logo on the right chest and a “2021 Copa América Champion” patch in the middle. The right chest has the AFA crest with three gold stars (one for each WC title); below it is the teams, date, and match location in smaller black font. The left sleeve is adorned with a blue “VIBRA EL CONTINENTE” patch, while the right sleeve bears the official Copa America USA 2024 patch. On the right front tail is a black "Adidas 2018 Authentic" patch.

The 100% polyester jersey with proper Adidas tagging comes in size "M" (labeled within collar) and exhibits no apparent wear. Our consignor has a trusted source who procured this shirt directly from the Argentina National Team. Includes full authentication paperwork from MEARS.
