After his initial glory years in Seattle, Ken Griffey, Jr. chose to return to his hometown of Cincinnati to cap off his Hall of Fame career. He reached several milestones playing for the Reds, but the most important was his 500th career home run on June 20, 2004, in St. Louis off Cardinals pitcher Matt Morris. Junior was now part of the immortal 500 Home Run Club, joining the ranks of legends such as Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, Willie Mays and Lou Gehrig.
This is a full, unused ticket to that historic game. The ticket itself is in pristine condition but has been further augmented by Junior’s black signature across its front. A tremendous, signed ticket from The Kid's most important career milestone. Dual-authenticated by PSA for the autograph and ticket, the latter is graded MINT 9. Among six dual-graded signed examples in the PSA pop, only one ticket is graded higher. Of the 35 unsigned fulls, only five are higher.
