June 15 1925 New York Yankee payroll check made out to long time Yankee Hall of Fame center fielder Earle Coombs who spent his entire 12 year career with the Yankees retiring in 1935 with a .325 lifetime batting average. Check is endorsed on the back in vintage 8-9/10 blue ink. Both Yankee owner Jacob Ruppert and secretary Ed Barrow have signed the front in 9-10/10 looking vintage black ink. Check itself in outstanding condition with three light folds. Interesting to note that his first name is misspelled "Earl" on the front of the check. Autograph slabbed PSA/DNA AUTHENTIC.
