With the addition of Bostons David Ortiz earlier this season Major League Baseballs ultra-exclusive 500 Home Run Club is now a fraternity thats 27 players strong. This lot features a very unique representation of 21 members of the prestigious club. It includes four cut signatures of Babe Ruth Jimmie Foxx Mel Ott and Barry Bonds along with five individually signed baseball cards (Fred McGriff Sammy Sosa Rafael Palmeiro Mark McGwire and Ken Griffey Jr.) that have been beautifully displayed in a framed-and-matted shadowbox display that measures 32 wide by 40 high. In addition an Upper Deck Heroes of Baseball autograph commemorative sheet is included that boasts sought-after signatures from 12 other club members: Willie McCovey Hank Aaron Ernie Banks Frank Robinson Eddie Murray Reggie Jackson Harmon Killebrew Mike Schmidt Mickey Mantle Willie Mays Ted Williams and Eddie Mathews. Lastly a specially engraved black-and-gold plaque measuring 10 wide by eight inches high is prominently positioned in the center of the display touting each of the aforementioned sluggers. An incredible salute to 21 players in MLB history who have crossed the hallowed 500 Home Run plateau.
