In 2016-17, Giannis Antetokounmpo, at age 22 in his fourth season, became a force to be reckoned with. The "Greek Freak" was named NBA's Most Improved Player by averaging 22.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and nearly two blocks per game -- all significant jumps from the year prior. He also started an active streak of eight consecutive All-Star appearances with no end in sight for the now 29-year-old superstar. Still in his prime with two MVPs and an NBA title already notched on his resume, the future and legacy of this uber-talented 6' 11" athletic specimen continue to look bright.
Offered here is a Giannis Milwaukee Bucks game worn, signed and inscribed jersey from his breakout 2016-17 campaign that has been conclusively photo-matched by Sports Investors Authentication. On April 6th, 2017, the Bucks fell to the Indiana Pacers on the road by a score of 104-89. Giannis scored a game-high 25 points, adding seven boards and six dimes. He went 11-13 from the charity strike that evening and finished the season a career-best 77% from the line.
The size medium jersey (snugger than usual for the big man) reads “MILWAUKEE” across the front in arched green on tan tackle twill lettering with his uniform number “34” appearing just below in like fashion. The back features his long last name “ANTETOKOUNMPO” arched in similar tackle twill form with his uniform number “34” repeated. Giannis has signed in black marker with "Game Worn" inscribed. The lower left front tail includes proper Adidas manufacturer’s tagging with Size M and a “LENGTH +2” flag tag showing. The jersey's unique NBA serial number code appears adjacent to the Adidas tag. Includes photomatch paperwork from Sports Investors, a JSA sticker and COA for the autograph, and a Giannis Antetokounmpo COA and hologram for the game use.
