Tyler Clippard wore this Washington Nationals jersey for the team's home opener of 2014. Clippard pitched one inning and took the loss hardly a good indicator of the stellar campaign to come his second All-Star season and a 7-4 record with an ERA of 2.18. In his nine seasons he has been one of the top relievers in the game posting a 42-29 record with a 2.88 ERA and 612 strikeouts. The shirt has the Washington W across the front in red and black tackle twill the same scheme for his No. 36 front and back and his name across the back affixed directly to the shirt. Sleeves and collar have red and black piping and the oval Washington Nationals embroidered patch appears on the left sleeve. The MLB logo appears at the back of the collar and the Majestic Authentic tagging is on the front tail (Size 46) with adjacent Cool Base tag at the inseam (wash instructions tag on the inside). A white strip tag appears at the back of the collar with 36 46 12 584. Shirt shows solid moderate game use and comes with the Major League Baseball Authentication hologram (HZ 112043) which is affixed to his number on the back.
