Authenticated to the specific date of April 19, 2019, this Marucci 'ES7' professional model bat was wielded by Eugenio Suarez during what became his a career-high tying 49-homer campaign with the Cincinnati Reds—and remarkably, he homered in his first plate appearance with this very bat. Fresh off helping lead his Venezuelan team to its first World Baseball Classic title, the right-handed slugger now with the Seattle Mariners is poised for another fine season as the 33-years-old closes in on the elite 400 HR Club in the coming years.
MLB Authentication (serial JD588487) locks this piece to a single game, a level of documentation that significantly elevates value. The Reds outlasted the Padres in San Diego by a score of 3-2 in extra innings, but it was the right-handed slugger from Venezuela who got it started for Cincy with a solo blast off Matt Strahm with one out in the top of the first.
