This base was used on Opening Day 2021 at the Big A in Anaheim. This was the Angels’ 60th season, a milestone commemorated by the custom decals affixed on the sides of the base. This would be Shohei Ohtani’s MVP season, and he kicked it off by scoring the winning run in the 4-3 win over Chicago. Ohtani was the team’s DH in the game, and although he was hitless in four at-bats, he reached base on an 8th-inning fielder’s choice and scored the winning run on Albert Pujols’s RBI groundout. The base shows extensive game use, with turf stains and abrasions throughout. The base comes with a display case, and an MLB hologram is affixed to the underside of the base.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method. Prior to bidding, please be aware of estimated shipping costs, especially for large or heavy lots.
