Bill Russell and Red Auerbach’s Boston Celtics were the most dominant team of the 1960s, winning 11 championships between 1957 and 1969. By 1965, they were used to finishing the season on top of the league, but that winning feeling never gets old. Pictured in this 7x9" original photograph are Auerbach, Russell, John Havlicek, Sam Jones, Satch Sanders, and K.C. Jones celebrating their 1965 NBA Finals victory with Massachusetts Governor John A. Volpe joining them in the background. Captioned on the reverse and stamped by the Associated Press, this photo comes in outstanding condition and has been encapsulated Type 1 by PSA/DNA.
