Manuel Neuer is the defining goalkeeper of his generation, the architect of the "sweeper-keeper" role and one of the most decorated shot-stoppers in the history of the sport. A record five-time winner of the IFFHS World's Best Goalkeeper (tied with Buffon and Iker Casillas), the Bayern Munich captain was recently named to his fifth consecutive World Cup roster for Germany. Since 2011, Neuer has appeared in nearly 400 matches for Bayern and won an unprecedented 32 trophies including 13 Bundesliga and two Champions League titles, achieving the coveted "treble" twice.
These Manuel Neuer player-exclusive Adidas Copa Pure+ match-worn boots have been conclusively photomatched by Resolution Photomatching to five Bayern Munich matches from April 20 to May 18, 2024, including both UEFA Champions League Semifinal legs against Real Madrid.
The important cleats present in a striking metallic deep rose/burgundy colorway with white Adidas three-stripe branding on the lateral sides and "COPA" script in yellow on the vamp. "FUSIONSKIN" branding is visible on the lateral forefoot of the right boot. The outsoles feature five yellow rubber studs and six metal screw-ins. Both boots display heavy match wear with creasing and surface scuffing on the uppers and soil accumulation on the mids and outsoles — all consistent with multiple competitive outings at the highest level of European club football.
