Victor Wembanyama arrived in the NBA as the most hyped prospect since LeBron James, and he has lived up to the billing. This 2023-24 Panini Mosaic variation comes from his rookie season, and PSA has graded it a flawless GEM MINT 10, the top grade on its scale.

Panini Mosaic is one of the hobby’s most popular modern brands, known for its eye-catching mosaic-pattern design and deep rainbow of parallels and variations. Variation cards are produced in smaller numbers than standard base cards, and they give collectors a scarcer way to own a key rookie-year issue. A perfect 10 grade puts this example at the top tier of the condition-conscious modern market, where Gem Mint copies carry a real premium.

The San Antonio Spurs took Wembanyama first overall in 2023, and the 7-foot-4 Frenchman made an immediate impact. He was the unanimous Rookie of the Year in 2023-24 and led the league in blocks, becoming the first rookie ever to do so while averaging more than three per game. He made his first All-Star team in his second season. Few players in league history have combined his size with guard-like ball skills and shooting range, and many in the game expect him to win multiple MVP and Defensive Player of the Year awards.

For collectors betting on one of the defining talents of the next NBA era, a Gem Mint rookie-season Wembanyama variation is a strong addition to any modern basketball collection. Please see photos for condition.
